Dr. Michael Chafetz

Practice: ANR, LLC

Dr. Chafetz maintains an active practice in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology for civil and criminal litigation, long- and short-term disability, workers’ compensation disputes, and for agency cases that include pilot exams (FAA), licensing board evaluations, and fitness-for-duty (FFD) evaluations for safety-sensitive positions. He provides evidence-based neuropsychological assessment for cases involving head injury, stroke, toxicity, MS, dementia, other neurodegenerative processes, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Assessments include full interviews, review of records, analysis of validity, premorbid functioning, and of social and emotional functioning, along with extensive neurocognitive testing for the systematic determination of whether there is impairment. Assessments are driven by the evidence-base, and Dr. Chafetz maintains resistance to biasing influences. ANR is also a training site for post-doctoral fellows and practicum students. Licensing

Dr. Chafetz is licensed in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology by the State of Louisiana (#762). He is also licensed as a Psychologist in Texas (#33311). For Louisiana Psychology licensing.  For Texas Psychology licensing.

Board Certification

Dr. Chafetz is recognized as a specialist in Clinical Neuropsychology. He is Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
